These included: the 50-inch full HD Plasma TV(50PG60), LCD FLATRON monitor(W2452T), 42-inch LCD HDTV(42LG60), the LX-570 handset and three other handsets, two home appliances, an audio player, and a video player.

- LG Electronics Received Presidential Award for Korean Labor-Management Culture

LG Electronics received the Presidential Award in 2005 for its labor-management culture, selected by the Ministry of Labor. The Labor-Management Award is awarded to companies whose management culture best models that of the associative and cooperative labor-management culture — according to the Ministry of Labor. LG Electronics' efforts to adopt a unique "labor-business relationship" concept and establish a new "labor-business community" was highly rated by the judging panel.
- LG Electronics Identified as Kazakhstan's "Best Home Appliance Company"

LG Electronics almost made a clean sweep, winning prizes in 14 of the 16 electricity and electronics categories at "Choice of the Year" in Kazakhstan. It was also acknowledged as being the "Best Home Appliance Company" for the fourth successive year. Seven of these categories won awards for the fourth year in a row, including home air conditioners, TVs, audio systems, VCRs, washing machines, and microwaves. In addition, LG Electronics' side-by-side refrigerators and LCD monitors received the award for the third successive year, providing the icing on the cake for LG Electronics.

A total of 13 products, designed by LG Electronics, including the wall-mounted air conditioner and LCD projection TV received a reddot Design Award. The LCD projection TV was highly rated because it is only 388 mm thick much thinner than the 29-inch TV and sports a luxurious design. It also has separate, built-in high-output speakers for improved sound quality. The wall-mounted air conditioner, which can greatly enhance the luxury of any interior, received a great deal of attention.

LG Electronics' LCD projection TV and notebook computer both received an iF Design Award, strengthening the status of LG Electronics in the European market. The scanning line of the LCD projection TV was extended to twice its original length. This greatly improved screen quality. These products were exhibited at the Cebit Show, which was held in Germany and received a positive response from the audience.

It was the 42-inch, single-unit-style LCD TV with built-in digital broadcast receiver and 50-inch PDP TV with a 1000:1 brightness ratio and super slim, 3.2-inch-thick DVD recorder that received the most attention.
